Personal Progression. What is it & How to Plan

Personal progression can happen organically but most of the time it is a conscious decision

to progress ones self. Whether it be for career, health or relationships.

To progress ones self takes planning and courage. Most progression and growth definintely takes us out of our comfort zone, however that is where the growth and progression happens. There are many reasons why we want to progress so below is a basic guide on how to plan and track your progression.

  1. Set yourself realistic goals.

  1. Prioritise those goals. What would you like to progress in first.

  2. Set yourself a realistic time scale in when this can be achieved.

  3. Identify obstacles and opportunities.

  4. Start working towards one goal at a time.

  5. If you have a support system from family or friends use it.

  6. Measure your progress and tick off when one goal is achieved.

  7. Don't give up. Keep going. Keep focused on the end goal

  8. Look at people who have accompolished what you want and know if they can do you can too!

  9. Be kind to yourself and enjoy the journey.
